One-on-One Housing Counseling Services Offered by our Network

Our Network Members offer housing counseling for residents navigating their housing goals or challenges. HUD-certified housing counselors will meet with you one-on-one to understand your situation and develop an action plan that empowers you to reach your housing goals.

To Access Services Online

After clicking the Get Started button on our website, you will be taken to our Housing Service Portal to login to an existing account or create a new account. 

If you have an existing account, login with your email and password to begin applying for housing programs and services.

If you do not have an existing account, you will be asked to create a new account and complete your profile, which will take approximately six to seven minutes. You can begin applying for housing programs and services after you have completed your profile. 

You may be asked to provide documents or personal information related to your household and financials when applying for housing programs and services.

A representative from a Detroit Housing Network Member will use the contact information you provided to reach out to you within two to three business days after your phone call. They will work with you to understand your housing situation and apply for the housing services that will get you closer to your housing goals.

You can call the Detroit Housing Resource Helpline at (866) 313-2520 and press #3 after choosing your language to speak to a housing specialist. 

A housing specialist will ask you questions about you and your household and connect you to the Detroit Housing Network Member best suited to meet your needs.

A representative from a Network Member will then use the contact information you provided to reach out to you within two to three business days after your phone call. They will work with you to understand your housing situation and apply for the housing services that will get you closer to your housing goals. 

The Detroit Housing Resource Helpline's hours of operation are as followed: 

Monday - Friday from 8am - 6pm 

Saturday from 9am - noon

Easily Apply for Additional Services

After you apply for a program or service, we keep your information safely in your profile. When you're ready to apply for another service, we'll auto-fill your application with all of the information in your profile.

Network Members work with clients to find, understand and apply for the housing services that will get them closer to their housing goals.
